1983 – Hanshel Supplies was founded as a partnership by John and Heather Thomas, working from home in Maisemore, Gloucestershire. After an apprenticeship at Dowty Seals and jobs with other Hydraulic companies in the 1970’s John wanted to set up on his own to supply seals and mouldings to the UK market. Customer relationships were set up with companies including: Vapormatic, Bence / Bepco, Sparex and Spenco.

2004 – The business moved to Churcham Business Park.
2008 – Business continued to grow, working with local hydraulic engineers and developing new offers such as copper and non metallic washers.
2016 – John Thomas retires from day to day running of the company.
2018 – All change with Andy Browett retiring and the dashingly handsome Richard Lloyd (who is in no way the person putting this stuff on the website) joining the business.
2019 – More space for the future, after outgrowing Unit C1 -16 years after moving in, it is a move over the road to Unit A1 when we have more room for growth and more stock.
